Gyokuro is a high quality Japanese green tea highly appreciated for its sweet, delicate flavor and intense umami.

Considered one of the finest teas produced in Japan, Gyokuro is made from a specific tea variety that is shaded for several weeks before harvesting.
Gyokuro is traditionally brewed at a lower temperature and for a shorter time than other green teas to bring out its unique flavor and aroma. It is often served in small cups, and can be enjoyed on its own or with traditional Japanese sweets.
